it was a pleasure to hold 2 workshops at platinum oliver rolf in hamburg. everybody had fun and learned a lot, very productive and creative people in hamburg! looking forward to come again in 2011!

the exhibition 'osteogenesis imperfecta - people made of glass' will be on view from april 27th to may 9th 2010 in st. pölten. the opening reception will be on april 27th, 18:30 - there will be a live collodion wetplate demonstration

exhibition 'collodion collective' in london
in honor of frederick scott archer (1813–1857), the inventor of the wet plate collodion photographic process, a new commemorative plaque will be unveiled on his grave on saturday, may 1, 2010. the collodion collective and world wet plate day, which i am both part of, organized and is sponsoring this event. there will be a live wet plate collodion demonstration, and an exhibition of wet plate collodion work from artists throughout the world at the dissenters' gallery in london from april 24th to may 8th 2010.

exhibition 'osteogenesis imperfecta'
oseteogenesis imperfecta, also known as glass-bone disease, is a portrait series of people who have to cope with this genetic bone disorder a lifetime. as a symbol, the pictures are made on broken glass - relating to their often broken bones.

world wetplate collodion day 2009
on may 2nd 2009, 51 artists and photographers from all over the world poured collodion on glass and metal plates and made photographs in honor of its inventor, frederick scott archer.
this book is a record of this event. some of my ambrotypes are also featured in this book.
